Mr. Herbert A. Fritch, also known as Herb, is the Founder and Principal of Guidon Partners GP, LLC. Mr. Fritch served as been an Advisor at Cigna Corp. from November 11, 2016 to December 2017. He served as President of HealthSpring Inc. at Cigna Corp. from January 2012 to November 11, 2016. Mr. Fritch served as the President of RPO. He was responsible for solidifying Cigna's presence as a health service provider for the growing U.S. seniors market and guiding new opportunities for customers as they transition from their careers into retirement years. He joined Cigna in 2012 after its acquisition of HealthSpring. He was an Advisor of Epiphany Health Ventures, LLC. He was the Founder of Newquest, LLC. He served as its Chief Executive Officer since September 2000. He served as the President of HealthSpring Inc. from September 2000 to November 1, 2008. He served as Executive Chairman at HealthSpring Inc. since September 2000. Mr. Fritch founded and served as President of North American Medical Management, Inc. (NAMM) from 1991 to 1999. Mr. Fritch served as Vice President of managed care for PhyCor following PhyCors acquisition of NAMM. Prior to NAMM, Mr. Fritch served as a Regional Vice President for Partners National Health plans from 1988 to 1991, where he was responsible for the oversight of seven HMOs in the southern region. He also founded Sanus Corp. Health Systems. He began his career in 1973 as an actuary. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at FCA Venture Partners V, L.P. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Clayton Associates, LLC. Mr. Fritch is an industry leader and with over 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry with managed healthcare. Mr. Fritch holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Carleton College.
