Executive Bio
Mr. Ron Skotarczak has been an Executive Vice President of Marketing Partnerships at The Madison Square Garden Company since March 24, 2016. Mr. Skotarczak served as the President of Lightning Poker Inc., a subsidiary of Lightning Gaming Inc., from November 2005 to March 25, 2008. He served as Vice President for Marketing and Entertainment of The Basketball Marketing Company Inc., (d.b.a. AND 1) from 2001 to 2005, where he created and led AND 1's Entertainment business area. He co-founded and also served as the President of Lightning Gaming, Inc., Prior to Merger with Lightning Poker, Inc. He also led Sales divisions in the NBA, NFL and NHL. He joined MSG Sports as Senior Vice President of Transformation sales in December 2008 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Partnership Sales in March 2011. He served as Vice President at AND 1. Before joining AND 1, he served as Vice President at HoopsTV, where he managed the advertising sales and content acquisition departments, working with companies such as Coca-Cola, FootAction, Comcast, Fila and Reebok, along with top colleges, high schools and sports leagues across the nation. During his career, he has also held sales positions with the Philadelphia Eagles and Comcast-Spectacor. He served as a Director of Lightning Poker Inc. from September 2006 to March 25, 2008. He served as a Director of Lightning Gaming, Inc., Prior to Merger with Lightning Poker, Inc. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at his alma mater, Villanova University. In 2011, he was named to SportsBusiness Journal's Forty Under 40. Mr. Skotarczak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, where he also served as an Adjunct Professor.
