Mr. Patrick M. Durbin has been the Senior Vice President and President of Specialty Diagnostics at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. since October 2015. Mr. Durbin served as the President of Fisher BioPharma Services since 2010. He joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as General Manager of North America at Fisher Clinical Services (FCS) in 2006 and was responsible for a suite of high-growth service lines that support the manufacturing, packaging and distribution of drugs, biologics and materials used in clinical trials. He was promoted in 2008 to lead the Fisher Clinical Services business globally. Prior to joining FCS, he had a sixteen-year career with Covance, formerly a division of Corning, where he held a variety of global senior management positions. He serves as a Director of Cenduit, LLC. He has been Non-Executive Director of Patheon N.V. since August 29, 2017. He has completed the General Management program at Columbia University and leadership development programs at both Thermo Fisher and Covance. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and an M.B.A. in pharmaceutical marketing.
