Mr. Woods served as the Chief Operating Officer of Total System Services, Inc. from December 09, 2003 to July 31, 2014 and its President since December 09, 2003. He served as the President of TSYS Columbus for Synovus Financial Corp. He managed the day-to-day operations and execution of Total System Services Inc.'s strategies. He served as Chief Operating Officer of TSYS Acquiring Solutions, L.L.C. until May 2008. Mr. Woods served as an Executive Vice President of Total System Services, Inc. from July 1995 to December 09, 2003, where he was responsible for directing its international expansion, strategic planning activities, negotiations with major clients and the continual improvement of TS2. From 1987 to 2003, Mr. Woods served in various capacities at Total System Services, Inc. including Senior Vice President. He started his career at Columbus Bank and Trust Company (Columbus, Ga.) in 1970, where he served part-time in the bankcard department and also served as its Vice President until 1977. He served as Senior Vice President for Consumer Lending with AmSouth Bank in Birmingham, Ala. He rejoined TSYS in 1987. Mr. Woods earned a Bachelor's Degree from Columbus State University (Columbus, Ga.), and graduated from the University of Virginia's Graduate School of Retail Bank Management and Louisiana State University's School of Banking of the South.
