Jay Scripter — Vice President of Operations at Trex Company

Mr. Jay T. Scripter has been Vice President of Operations of Trex Co. Inc. since January 2016. Mr. Scripter served as Vice President of Sustainability at Owens-Illinois, Inc. since July 2008. From February 2015 to January 2016, Mr. Scripter served as Senior Vice President Operations at FXI, a manufacturer of polyurethane foam products for a number of industries including home furnishing, automotive, medical and electronics. From July 2008 to October 2015, Mr. Scripter served in various operational roles at Owens Illinois and Vice President Integrated Operations???North America. Mr. Scripter focused on building Owens-Illinois's capabilities in the key disciplines of sustainability and to develop the strategies, management processes and key initiatives needed to position glass as the most sustainable packaging material. He partners with operations, engineering, marketing, legal, communications and other functional teams to further shape Owens-Illinois, Inc.'s sustainability strategy and priorities. Mr. Scripter In addition, he leads projects and networks of resources that focus on key opportunities in the areas of energy, environmental compliance, safety, recycling and related issues of Owens-Illinois, Inc. Prior to 2003, Mr. Scripter served in various leadership roles within the building products industry. Mr. Scripter has over 20 years of general management, operations, Lean Six Sigma and engineering experience in both the chemicals and building materials sectors. He served as General Manager of EFTEC Automotive joint venture in North America for HB Fuller since February 2007. He joined HB Fuller Co. in 2003. Mr. Scripter served as Vice president of North America at HB Fuller Co. from March 5, 2007 to April 28, 2008. Mr. Scripter earned a B.S. Degree in mechanical engineering from South Dakota State University and an M.B.A. degree from Drake University.
