Gary M. Fritz — Chief Growth Officer and President of Asia Pacific at Tripadvisor

Mr. Gary M. Fritz has been Chief Growth Officer and President of Asia Pacific at TripAdvisor Inc. since July 5, 2016. Mr. Fritz is responsible for driving growth and strategy across the entire family of TripAdvisor brands. Before joining TripAdvisor, Mr. Fritz founded the advisory and investment group Amanogawa, LLC, where he advised the leadership of several multi-national companies on global strategy and expansion plans, with clients that included Rakuten and TripAdvisor. He held a variety of senior executive roles at Expedia, Inc. from 2003 to 2012. Mr. Fritz served as Co-President of Expedia Partner Services Group at Expedia Inc. from 2008 to 2012. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development of Expedia Inc. until March 2009. Mr. Fritz has 20 years of experience. Mr. Fritz joined Expedia served a variety of corporate strategy, development and long-range planning roles. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Expedia Inc., until March 2009. Mr. Fritz served with the global consultancy McKinsey & Company in both Washington, D.C. and London. From September 2000 and December 2003, Mr. Fritz had worked as consultant at McKinsey and Company. Mr. Fritz received his B.A. degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
