How employees describe working at Union of Concerned Scientists
They are a great organization
I would feel valued if my pay was at or above the average for my job title and length of experience. Currently, I'm being paid about $7,000/yr less than I should be and am also not being offered enough compensation for a potential promotion.

What questions do they ask during the interview process at Union of Concerned Scientists?
Unlike most places, they skip over the usual questions and ask you directly about your experience and technical aspects relating to the potential job.
How would you compare interviewing at Union of Concerned Scientists to other places you've interviewed?
Very difficult due to effort required (actually had to create things and do a short practical exam).
What should I wear for an interview at Union of Concerned Scientists?
Business casual like usual for interviews.
What was the most difficult question that was asked during your interview at Union of Concerned Scientists?
None of the questions were terribly difficult, but the series of interviews required effort. In addition to the usual resume and cover letter, I also had to do a video interview, submit a writing sample, interview in person, create a presentation, and do a practical exam which was more than I've ever had to do for any other job.
