What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health insurance is reasonaly priced
The pay is not competitive with other lenders or industry averages so the only benefit is the benefits. They have one of the best insurance packages available. Any bonus or incentive structure is temporary/difficult to reach, if offered at all, and is not reliable income.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
People are hired as worker bees and not for their actual skills and then under payed. Using my professional skillset and paying competitively would make me feel better.
Getting paid more hourly. Getting paid less than 40k in 2021 as someone with a bachelor's degree is demeaning.
Pay is considerably lower than the industry standard, which is only made worse by the amount of work they demand from you

UWM should have to pay Underwriters overtime. They create these Senior Underwriting positions so they can pay them salaries rather than hourly. This saves them a fortune through labor expenses since they also force their entire Underwriting team to work rise and grind shifts every other Tuesday.
Definitely need to pay more. Incredibly low compared to all jobs
