Clarence Verhoef — Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Varian Medical Systems

Mr. Clarence R. Verhoef has been Corporate Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Varian Medical Systems, Inc. since August 2012 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Verhoef has been the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Varex Imaging Corporation since January 28, 2017. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of TechniScan Inc. from September 2004 to November 2009. He has more than 25 years of experience. He served as Chief Financial Officer of GE OEC Medical Systems in conjunction with the acquisition by GE and retained this position from 1999 to 2002. During this three-year period, he was instrumental in delivering cash flow at 160% of net income while doubling as Financial Officer of the Surgical & Vascular Imaging division of GE Medical Systems, where he also led financial due diligence for acquisitions. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Verhoef served as the Vice President of Finance at OEC Medical Systems, Inc., from September 1996 to 1999, secretary since March 1998 and its Treasurer since October 1993. During this time, he was responsible for all finance operations and public reporting required by the NYSE and the SEC (10-Q, 10-K, S-8), including the due diligence and merger with GE Medical Systems. He held various positions including Director of Finance of OEC from August 1993 to September 1996, Assistant Secretary from August 1993 to March 1998 and Controller from October 1989 to August 1993. Mr. Verhoef is a graduate of the University of Utah with a B.S. degree in finance.
