Mr. Richard A. Baldridge, also known as Rick, has been the President of ViaSat Inc. since December 1, 2003 and has been its Chief Operating Officer since September 2000. Mr. Baldridge joined ViaSat Inc. in April 1999 served as its Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From September 2000 to August 2002, he served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of ViaSat Inc. He served as an Executive Vice President of ViaSat Inc. since September 2000 until August 2002. He served as a Vice President and General Manager of Raytheon Corporation's Training Systems Division from January 1998 to April 1999. From June 1994 to December 1997, Mr. Baldridge served as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration for Hughes Information Systems and Hughes Training Inc., prior to their acquisition by Raytheon in 1997. His other experience includes various senior financial management roles with General Dynamics Corporation. Mr. Baldridge serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of EvoNexus. He serves as a Director of ViaSat Inc. since September 2016. He has been a Director of Ducommun Incorporated since March 22, 2013. He serves as a Director of CommNexus San Diego. He also serves as a Director of Jobs for America's Graduates and the National Alliance of Business (NAB). Mr. Baldridge holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Information Systems, from New Mexico State University.
