What is the best part about your compensation package?
Salary is the only part.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have been more than happy to work for this company until recently. The manger doesn't show appreciation for the work I do, and the disrespect is weighing me down. He has me driving 2 -3 hours for each job site, so half of my check is spent on gas and food. Appreciation and respect would be enough

What are some of the best things about your team?
we have 'all hands' from one of the three groups I'm under almost every week, but they're always either boring or insultingly dumbed down.
people try hard to complete tasks

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Honesty, teamwork, intelligence, good work ethic
gossip and lack of a team environment
I'm sure they do great work, I just don't associate with them
Better internal communications and coordination. Hold people accountable, don't let the employees leverage Viasat's culture to skip out of or avoid completing tasks.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Relaxed dress code. Lots of offices. Hardly any cubes.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Respect for workers. Supervisors not taking credit for the work of others and overall honesty.
Lead needs to speak at a lower decibel when addressing co-workers.

The attitude of the manager. I leave at 7 or 8am everyday, and I get home after 9pm, 6 days a week. I get my jobs done, but the manager won't acknowledge how hard I work. I do atleast 5 jobs a day. I am degraded and cussed at. The older man shouldn't be paid to just drive around on company time.

teams are disorganized, communication is a problem
Viasat sends us inane far distances for service calls and installs that only seem to cover gas
