care about their people and their career
they give autonomy and offer opportunities to grow
Honest and hard working - lead from the front
Good communication with front line management.
They are committed to the individual employee. They do not simply operate in a way to increase their own coffers.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leading. Advocating. Communication. Organization. Knowing policies.
putting more responsibility into the hands of the workers, we dont need micro managment to operate properly, then we could all get paid more.
Communication. Supervisers think employees should set a example where a supervisor does not tale his own advice
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The health benfits and 401k are great
The job can be stredfful but good fun too
Great benefits including Blue Cross and family leave
Should be better thought out
We have the best medical benefits. I stay at this crappy job just for the medical.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
35% raise would do everyone good
Proper career development, realistic compensation structures, innovate products employees would be proud to stand behind.
All workers paid the same even if your out working and producing everyone. Ans your still paid way to low
i am litterally one of the workers that makes the parts the company provides it is the first and most important step, but we get paid pennies to the dollar compared to some salesmen, or even human resource employees, absolutely discusting.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They work hard at there job thats expected of them

My coworkers are great and they kept me there for 5 years.
that any of us can deal with the discouraging schedule, and absolute garbage pay for one of the top companies in the field, and still work here at all.
We work together as a team and support everyone.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It would be helpful if they could show up on time and not leave early. Also they withhold important information.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I'm not sure there's much positive. The place is miserably all around. Every employee is miserable.
In my immediate department we are treated like children. I have heard from other departments that they are treated like adults and their manager is family friendly.

Across the entire region, Victaulic is known as a great place to work. Our company is constantly reaching into the community to help. People look happy at work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Everything. Executives, board and owners must realize they are no longer helming a company in the 70's.
More senior people taken care of better than new employee.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They call you in, show you what goes on and ask if you want to do it. That's the extent of it.

I came from a temporary agency so the interview process was quick and painless.
It was a quick process. The hiring manager was decisive, however I was hired as a specialist for the department.

Team work and friendly environments
Honestly i am not sure. Supervisors playing favorites doesnt make people here happy
I can't say. I would probably be fired if I told you what I really do all day.
I love my job. My managers assign projects based on my strengths and interests and don't micromanage my work style. Our team is cutting-edge and I am proud of the content we produce.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Poor manufacturing, delayed lead times, defective products resilting in ongoing lawsuits.
Run the business professionally. Get organized. To top dogs need to learn what goes on from bottom to top and how everything runs. Train your employees, pay them and promote by skill and not by who's in the click or a yes man.
