If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Viget?
I wouldn't touch the culture by-in-far. I would say that everyone needs to stop stressing out so much.
What do people at Viget think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO is terrific.
How's the work life balance at Viget?
Not great. Regularly 45+ hour weeks, but that does not include short breaks or lunch. So if you get in at 8:30AM and take a 2 short 15 minute walks and a 30 minute lunch, you're staying till 6:30PM. Management talks about how they don't want people working long hours, but that just isn't it's lived out in practice.
Does Viget have any remote positions?
Yes.
How does Viget make decisions around promotions?
There isn't much growth in terms of management once your team has a manager. So, it's mostly when filling a gap or on the rare occasion a new position presents itself and how you present your case for a promotion. Being a generalist is not appreciated here-- you are encouraged to have a focus.
How's the vacation policy at Viget?
Their policy on paper is sub-par, but they allow you to go in the hole if need be and have never said "no" to taking off.

What's the company culture like at Viget?
The culture is the best of any company I've experienced. Everyone is incredibly smart, well-intentioned, and humble. It's pretty difficult to find that mix elsewhere.
