Executive Bio

Deepak comes to Village Capital after 5 years with mDhil Health Info Services, a health startup based in Bangalore, India, where he served as the COO. Prior to mDhil, he spent 18 months with Quest Alliance, a non-profit focused on education & vocational training, where he worked primarily on program evaluation & partnership management. Before Quest, he spent 4 years with Microsoft- during this period, he was part of a team where the mandate was to build partnerships & run programs with non-profits as well as social enterprises working in health, education or financial inclusion. The goal of these pilots was essentially to explore the role of technology in improving mission outcomes for these organizations. Deepak has also worked in the non-profit / social impact space in the early years of his career, before joining Microsoft.
