What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are easy to approach, have a convo/drink/coffee with.
I love how the leadership team reacts to feedback. They take personal issues extremely seriously and make meaningful adjustments based on the perspective they gather from their team.

Professional Development Stipend (each year)
There is a significant amount of performance-based compensation for revenue generating roles, but a still-healthy base salary.

They are awesome- clever, curious, humble, kind and supportive
The team is so collaborative and respectful and supportive! It's really like a family more than anything else.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People. It is difficult to find people like our team members
Extremely respectful. Takes DEI commitments deeply seriously. Very mission-driven and focused on creating a more equitable system to support entrepreneurship.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Village Capital's going through a change from being "just" an accelerator to becoming a platform that creates equitable entrepreneur support (working across other accelerators, building web-based platforms, and supporting investors) and the organization needs to take the time to set a clear vision.
What do you like best about your company?
Village Capital is an incredible place to grow. It's mission-driven, visionary, and incredibly well-connected. It also very clearly recognizes that it's not the only place for its employees.
