Management never thanks you when you have a good idea unless it is their idea. If you do have a good idea and you are not part of the IN crowd then they will take your idea and give it to someone they like. This ends with them destroying your idea and low and behold it becomes your idea again.

Hire people in management who actually known what they are doing, we aren't building another disneyland
Stop worrying about the company image and take care of the employees. The only people being taken care of are the executives. everyone else is just along for the ride. Empower the employees and pay them well as well as respect their ideas.
They know what the problems are, but they will never change it to continue to be accepted by the click, so it make no sense to say.
