James Blastos — Vice President of Operations at Vocera Communications

Mr. James Blastos, also known as Jim, serves as a Vice President of Operations at Vocera Communications, Inc. Mr. Blastos has more than twenty years experience in leadership positions in small- and large-sized organizations in engineering, quality engineering, operations and application engineering. He joined Vocera from Foveon, where he was a Director of Operations for seven years. Prior to Foveon, he was at KLA-Tencor, holding a number of engineering positions and in the Army as a physics instructor at West Point and various staff positions. Mr. Blastos holds a B.S in nuclear engineering and laser physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA from Chaminade University and an M.S in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
