Linda Perneau is a trailblazing business executive and transformational leader. As president and CEO of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., a $1 billion global workforce solution provider, Linda is known for facing challenges, delivering results, surpassing goals, exceeding expectations, and driving growth. The first female CEO in the company’s 75-year history, Linda is an inspirational leader who has earned a reputation for building high-performance teams and attracting world-class talent.

 

She has held a variety of senior executive roles at some of North America's largest staffing organizations, including Kelly Services, Adecco, Spherion and Randstad. Her deep industry experience and expertise spans start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, and geographic expansions.

 

Linda joined Volt in 2018 and after six days was asked to take on the President and CEO role on an interim basis. Six months later, in November 2018, Linda was formally appointed as President and CEO of the global organization that includes Volt Workforce Solutions, Volt Europe, Volt Asia and Volt Consulting Group, as well Design & Technical outsourcing services. Since being in her role, Volt has improved performance in nearly all key financial and operational metrics. In the second quarter of 2021, Volt achieved their strongest year-over-year revenue growth in a decade, and their first positive GAAP net income in 14 quarters.

 

A driven and dynamic strategist influencing and shaping the industry, Linda is often sought out as a thought leader on workforce solutions, staffing and hiring trends, global talent challenges and change management. She is consistently recognized in the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) North American Staffing 100 list, and the SIA Global Power 150 — Women in Staffing list. In addition, she has participated in elite international leadership programs at the IMD International Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, and the London School of Business.

 

As a fierce advocate for women in staffing and business, Linda is dedicated to supporting future women leaders and often lends her time as a mentor. In her spare time, she volunteers for the Walk for Alzheimer’s and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, rescue dog owner and fitness fanatic.
