He served as Treasurer of Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. and its subsidiary The Washington Trust Company since 2008 until June 5, 2017 and served as its an Executive Vice President of Wealth Management since May 20, 2013 until September 2015. Mr. Kim served as an Executive Vice President at Washington Trust Bancorp Inc. and its subsidiary The Washington Trust Company since 2008. He served as the Chief Revenue Officer at The Washington Trust Company. He is responsible for asset/liability management, strategic planning, budgeting and profitability reporting processes and oversight of the Washington Trust's investment and wholesale funding portfolios. He joined Washington Trust Bank in 1993 as Financial Planning Officer and served as its Assistant Vice President, Financial Planning since 1995, Vice President of Financial Planning since 1996 and Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Asset/Liability Management since 2000. He also serves as Senior Vice President of Washington Trust. He serves as a Trustee of Trinity Repertory Company, Inc. He serves as Director of The Rhode Island Free Clinic. He serves as President of the Community College of Rhode Island Charitable Foundation. He also serves as Lecturer on the faculty of the Morin Center for Banking at the Boston University School of Law. Mr. Gim graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in 1987 and a master's degree in 1988 from the London School of Economics in London, England.
