Alejandro’s global perspective and innovative approach are poised to drive Wedgewood's continued growth and success.

Before joining Wedgewood, Alejandro served as President and CEO of PetDx®, where he successfully repositioned the company’s commercial strategy and streamlined operations. His career also includes leading Mars Veterinary Health International and Diagnostics, as well as two of Zoetis (formerly Pfizer Animal Health) Divisions (Canada & Latin America and Europe, Africa and Middle East) as well as Zoetis’ Corporate Strategy, M&A and Commercial Development functions.

Alejandro holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Universidad de Caldas in Colombia, a Master of Science (MSc) from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and Manchester Business School in the UK. Known for his collaborative and results-oriented approach, Alejandro is committed to enhancing Wedgewood’s relationships with veterinarians and advancing animal health through innovation.

In addition to his role at Wedgewood, Alejandro serves on the boards of Phibro Animal Health and ST Genetics. His dedication to the animal health industry is reflected in his efforts to drive transformative growth and innovation, and he is deeply engaged in the broader animal health community.
