George Turner — Senior Vice President of Six Sigma at Westrock Company

Mr. George W. Turner serves as Senior Vice President of Six Sigma at Rock-Tenn Co and served as its Vice President of Six Sigma. Mr. Turner joined RockTenn in 1994 as a Project Manager for the Paperboard Division and has also served in Production Manager and Plant Manager roles for two of RockTenn's converting plants. He was selected to be a full-time Black Belt in 2003 and was promoted to Master Black Belt in 2004. Prior to joining the company, Turner was a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the U.S. Naval Academy and has a master's of business administration from Charleston Southern University.
