Nina Butler — Chief Sustainability Officer at Westrock Company

Ms. Nina E. Butler serves as Chief Sustainability Officer of WestRock Company. Ms. Butler served as Senior Vice President and Senior Environmental Counsel at Rock-Tenn Co and served as its Vice President. Ms. Butler served as Vice President of Environmental Affairs of Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. from April 30, 2006 to May 2011. She joined Smurfit-stone Container Corp. in 1996 as environmental counsel and was senior environmental counsel, with responsibility for a wide range of transactional and compliance matters. She began her career as an environmental attorney with the law firm of Hunton & Williams from 1990 to 1996. She holds a Bachelor's degree in urban and environmental planning from the University of Virginia and earned her law degree from Tulane University.
