Thomas Stigers — Executive Vice President of Containerboard Mills at Westrock Company

Mr. Thomas M. Stigers, also known as Tom, has been Executive Vice President of Containerboard Mills at WestRock Company since September 12, 2016. Mr. Stigers served as an Executive Vice President of Corrugated Paper Solutions at WestRock Company (formerly Rock-Tenn Company) until September 12, 2016 and served as its Executive Vice President of Mill Operations. Mr. Stigers served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Containerboard Mills at Rock-Tenn Co. and is responsible for its five CRB and one SBS mills, as well as the mill resource group. Mr. Stigers joined RockTenn with the Southern Container acquisition in 2008 and served as its Senior Vice President - Coated Mill Operations. He served as Vice President and General Manager at Solvay Paperboard LLC. He has worked within the paper industry since 1987 in various leadership roles with Champion International, Simpson, Donohue and Abitibi Consolidated. He began his career in the aerospace industry. Mr. Stigers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Paper Science and Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and an MBA from Adelphi University.
