Mr. Cooper has been Chief Technology Officer at WEX Inc since December 13, 2016 and serves as its Senior Vice President. He has over 25 years of experience delivering award-winning technology solutions, including turnkey systems, enterprise software, software-as-a-service, web and mobile products. Prior to joining WEX, Mr. Cooper held several senior technology positions, including Head of Global Operations at GlobeOne, Senior Vice President of technology at Green Dot and Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of product development at both Fiserv and CashEdge, Inc. Prior to joining CashEdge, he served as Director of software development at Oracle and was responsible for several products within the Oracle Applications division. Before Oracle he held senior engineering management positions within Assentive Inc., Vuent Inc., and Coryphaeus Software Inc. He has 18 years of software development experience, covering a wide range of technologies, applications and product areas. He has a proven track record of designing and delivering innovative software products and has received several industry awards recognizing his products. Mr. Cooper earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Microprocessor Systems from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
