They are down to earth

They are always open to contact, chat, any doubts... there is no such thing as hierarchy when it comes to contacting and asking for any advice.

Promote from within and be proactive instead of reactive

Listening to their employees and stop acquiring businesses. They keep pushing for a $5B revenue goal but yet spend so much on acquisitions.

Train employees properly. Not hire based on personal feelings over actual business need.

Being supportive of the customer service team. Very high pressure position without the training needed. They are just looking for warm bodies to answer the phones

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The salary increases annually are dismal at best. They have record-breaking profits that are reported but they give 1-2 percent of merit increases every year. Recently they changed everyone's quarterly bonus to an annual but won't pay out until 3/2025 so the get a year to save those dollars too.

Their annual ratings for employees are useless for the amount of time it takes to get a 2% raise annually if that. Everyone unless you’re upper leadership makes around the same annual salary increases regardless of your worker effort

I make less than others doing similar work.

Stop promoting that the company is such a DEI-friendly place for promotional advertisements and do something. Listen to your employees to hear feedback when things are not right. We work the front lines and can see when things are not going great.

More money would help with the culture a bit. The company keeps making a lot of employee resource groups and other smoke and mirrors but they don’t actually do anything else to hel

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Customers constantly tell WEX that our technology needs improvement, and do not like the increased response times for simple tasks to be completed or the constant change of account managers. WEX is very sale-focused for service teams and clients hate it. Why get more broken services?
