Leadership are all great people who are nice to work with. They sometimes lack communication and sometimes with upper level management (directors etc) I feel as though they lose touch with the day to day of what their team deals with/does.
In the interview process, I met not only the manager but also the director, which was nice to get a sense of who the team was. Currently, I believe its not uncommon to interview with other additional team members as well in addition to the manager and director.
