What do you like best about the leadership team?
they are all good people
They value their employees and provide a good amount of vacation and sick time
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
VA CORE Values are meaningless. OIG reports negligence only when they have to. To inspect your own facilities and investigate corrupt employees without consequences invites fraud and a culture of indifference.
Not sure this is government institution
What is the best part about your compensation package?
TSP matches and FERS and FEGLI
Student loan forgiveness without paying capital gains tax.
Great pension and healthcare benefits at retirement
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
An actual pension program and actual pto program
poor retirement program and unfair pay program administration.
raise or update the pay scale for the responsibilities given
What are some of the best things about your team?
Region staff the best..and had a good leader.
they are all very approachable and will help with anything
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Comply with federal laws and VHA directives
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
local division team keeps me there
all of my co-workers are very helpful and are all eager to complete whatever projects are in front of them.

Privatize the entire VHA system
