Timothy S. Crane — Executive VP, Senior Market Head & Treasurer at Wintrust Financial Corporation

Mr. Timothy S. Crane, also known as Tim, has been an Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Wintrust Financial Corporation since August 2008 and January 28, 2016 respectively and serves as its Senior Market Head. Mr. Crane served as Regional Market Head of Wintrust Financial Corporation. Mr. Crane is the Regional Market Head overseeing Lake Forest Bank, Northbrook Bank, North Shore Community Bank and St. Charles Bank. He served as an Executive Vice President of Chicagoland - North Division of Bank of Montreal. He served as Member of Management Board of Bank of Montreal. Mr. Crane served as the President of Community Banking of Harris BankCorp. Inc. (now BMO Bancorp, Inc.), a holding company of Harris N.A. from August 1, 2006 to April 2008. and also served as President and Head of Retail Banking of Harris National Association. Mr. Crane was responsible for Harris Bankcorp's network of more than 230 banking locations throughout Illinois and Indiana. In addition, he was responsible for Harris Bankcorp's nationwide automobile financing business, its consumer lending/mortgage business and its retail brokerage business. Mr. Crane began his banking career with Harris in 1984 where he served as Executive Vice President, Chicagoland - North Division and he served as Head of Harris Bankcorp's automobile financing business and its consumer lending/mortgage business. He served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Product Development and Vice President of Commercial Lending of Harris Bank he worked in Harris' Commercial Lending, Cash Management and Marketing divisions and he served as head of the Consumer Lending/Mortgage Group. During his tenure, his work responsibilities have encompassed activities in the Canadian and Mexican banking markets. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Wintrust Bank. Mr. Crane serves as the Chairman of the Board of Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company and North Shore Community Bank & Trust Company. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company until October 2010. He served as Vice-Chairman of Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Family Services and the Metropolitan Planning Council. He served as a Director of Crystal Lake Bank & Trust Company, N.A. since May 11, 2016 until May 31, 2017. He served as a Director of Northbrook Bank & Trust Company. He is a Member of the Financial Services Roundtable and Executive Club of Chicago and also serves on the Consumer Banker's Association Government Relations Committee. He has been a speaker and instructor for various industry groups. Mr. Crane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He has participated in continuing education programs at both Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and the Ivy School of Business in Toronto.
