Positive Reviews From Wolfram Employees

  • What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviewer was so generous polite calm
  • What are some of the best things about your team?
Smart people with good ideas are everywhere, in every department. Colleagues are encouraging even though upper management usually isn't.
  • What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Benefits (parental leave, domestic partner benefits) are more progressive compared to majority of other companies in the midwest. Remote work is valued as much as on-site work.

Constructive Feedback From Wolfram Employees

  • What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicating needs and expectations without talking down to employees.
  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salaries are below average across the board and employees are discouraged from discussing pay with their coworkers. Knowing you're not being paid what you're wort is one thing; but not being able to build a case for the true value of your work is demoralizing on top it.
  • What would you improve about your company's interview process?
One or two people should be able to effectively conduct an interview. I was interviewed by five without a clear understanding of the roles four of them played withing the company or how they related to the position I applied for.
