If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at XTRA Lease?
Better communication. More interest and understanding of employees personal and family demands.
What do people at XTRA Lease think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Ivory tower. Aloof. Not very connected to average employee. Company is successful & profitable, so from that perspective he does well.
How's the work life balance at XTRA Lease?
It's up to you to define and adjust to. May occasionally be able to leave early for family event or special need - but it is discouraged.
Does XTRA Lease have any remote positions?
Yes. We have 55 sites scattered throughout USA.
How's the vacation policy at XTRA Lease?
It's average. 2 weeks after a year. 3 weeks after 5 years. 4 weeks after 10 years. 6 sick days per year. No flex time. No real comp time for extra work or working outside normal hours.
How does XTRA Lease make decisions around promotions?
Seems somewhat random and arbitrary. They do evaluate experience and performance.
What needs to change to make the company culture better at XTRA Lease?
Again, more team building, better communications. There is a definite divide between Senior Management and lower level employees.

My job has gotten somewhat tedious and have been taken off path from my primary skill set. Lack of appreciation.

We primarily need more guidance then the autonomy to complete tasks as required by business and mangement
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at XTRA Lease?
Raises are not keeping up with cost of living. Profits are distributed disproportionally - very top-heavy to Execs and Senior Management
