  • Whenever it says "Funds Pending" on your gift tracker, it means that your funds haven't cleared through on your guest's credit card yet. It usually takes 4-5 business days for the funds to clear on their end, and then you will be able to transfer those funds to your account!

  • First, you need to add your bank account details on this page. You will have to be logged into the primary account. You can add bank account information on the desktop site or the Zola app only. Please note: You must have a United Stateschecking account with a United States address to transfer cash fund gifts to your bank account. Wecurrently do not support transfers to international bank accounts or to bank accounts in unincorporatedterritories including Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and AmericanSamoa.

    Afteryou'veadded your bank account details, youll be able to transfer any contributions towards your cash fundson your gift tracker. Just hit Transfer Now next to the corresponding gift, which will send your funds to the bankaccount you added.

    Please allow sufficient time (at least 10 business days) for your first cash transfer to process. All subsequent transfers should happen much faster (within 2-4 days).

  • You can choose to give each guest a plus one. Choose this option when you are adding the guest manually, by clicking "Yes" next to "Include a plus one?" Or do it later when editing a guest, and click "+ Add Plus One."

    You can then mark the plus one as "Name Unknown" if you are not sure who they will be.

  • We make it super easy to register for gifts, gift cards, and honeymoon or cash funds all at Zola. To add a honeymoon or cash fund to your registry, head to our cash fund page or tap the + Add Gifts button under Manage Registry.

    You can create your own cash fund or select one from our list of cash and honeymoon fund ideas. You can even customize any of our pre-made funds to make it more personal to you two, including changing the image and title.

    Add as many cash funds as you want! In fact, we recommend splitting large funds up into smaller ones. Guests love contributing to specific experiences, like airfare, dinners, tickets for a museum or show, and more.

    When you add a cash fund to your Zola registry, you have the option to have your guests contribute Any Amount or Fixed Amounts:

    Any Amount: This option lets your guests contribute what they wish to your cash fund. Just make sure you set your Total Cash Amount high enough so multiple guests can contribute. If a guest tries to contribute more than the amountyou'verequested, they will be prompted to lower their amount gifted to you. You can also hide total from your guests if youd like to set the amount higher than youre hoping to receive (see below).

    Fixed Amounts: With this option, you set a fixed amount that guests can contribute towards your cash fund. Just make sure you set the quantity and amounts high enough to receive the total amount youre hoping to receive for this cash fund (see below).

  • First, within "Guest List," click "Import/Export Guests" go to "Import Guests" from the drop down. Downloadour Zola Guest List Template spreadsheet.

    Open the blank spreadsheet and you will see text across the first row in the spreadsheet.

    Do not change the titles in the first row. Do not write in any of the empty columns after the titled ones.

    In the second row, you will start your guest list.

    See the below explanation for what goes in each columnmost columns are optional, only the First Name and Last Name are required.

    Title: this is Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., or Judge. You can leave this blank, but we recommend adding a title if you would like to use our Address Invitations tool (optional).

    First Name: this is the first name of the primary guest in the group. This field is required (all others are optional).

    Last Name: this is the last name of the primary guest in the group. This field is required (all others are optional).

    Suffix: if the primary guest has a suffix on their name like "Jr.," "III," or "PhD," it goes here (optional).

    Partner Title: if this is a couple, add the partner's title. This is Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., or Judge. You can leave this blank, but we recommend adding a title if you would like to use our Address Invitations tool (optional).

    Partner First Name: if this is a couple, add the partner's first name. This field is required in order to add a partner with a known name (optional).

    Partner Last Name: if this is a couple, add the partner's last name (optional).

    Partner Suffix: if this is a couple, add the partner's suffix, like "Jr.," "III," or "PhD" (optional).

    And Guest?: write "Yes" or "Y" if are allowing the primary guest to bring a plus one. If not, you can write "No" or just leave it blank to not add a plus one (optional).

    Email Address: this is the email of the primary guest. It is great to add this if you do not have their address because Zola can request their address via email for you (optional).

    Phone Number: this is the phone number of the primary guest (optional).

    Street Address: this is the street address of the primary guest. If you are writing formal addresses on your envelopes, we recommend writing out Street, Boulevard, or Avenue (instead of St, Blvd, or Ave) (optional).

    Street Address (line 2): this is the street address line 2 of the primary guest, like apartment number. If you are writing formal addresses on your envelopes, we recommend writing Apartment or Townhouse instead of Apt or Twhs(optional).

    City: this is the city of the primary guest (optional).

    State / Region: this is the state or region of the primary guest. You can write a state as its abbreviation or fully spelled out (optional).

    Zip / Postal Code: this is the zip code of the primary guest (optional).

    Country: this is the country of the primary guestonly add this field if it is NOT the United States. You can spell the country out or enter the country codejust make sure you check spelling (optional).

    First Name - Child 1: if the guest is bringing a child, add their first name (optional).

    Last Name - Child 1: if the guest is bringing a child, add their last name (optional).

    First Name - Child 2: if the guest is bringing a second child, add their first name (optional).

    Last Name - Child 2: if the guest is bringing a second child, add their last name (optional).

    ...up to 5 children

    Enter all your guest information, and= save the spreadsheet as a .csv file (it likely already is one).

    Then, click Upload Spreadsheet and choose your file. Please double check that all the information is correct.

    Once your guests are in Guest List, you can add "Relationship to You," "Request Missing Info," and more ways to manage your guests.

    If you are having trouble uploading your spreadsheet, just email it over to us at [email protected] with the error that you are receiving when you try to upload (reminder to please attach your spreadsheet file with the email). We're always happy to help!

  • You can add a single person, single person with a plus one, couple, or family to your guest list.

    When you choose "+ Add Guests" in the right hand corner, you can pick the guest type you are adding. From there you can add more children, add a plus one, or remove any guests in the group by clicking on the "X."

  • Of course! We recognize the fun in bringing a physical gift to a shower or the wedding. So we make it easy to do.

    During the checkout process, you can choose to ship the gift directly to the couple or select Ship to another address as seen below.

    Youll be prompted to provide the address for where youd like us to ship the gift.

    Another fun feature: You can keep the gift a surprise if youdon'twant the couple to know whatyou'vepurchased ahead of the shower or wedding. To take advantage, select Make this gift a surprise! during checkout as seen below. Then enter the reveal date of your choosing (like the day of or day after the shower or wedding). On the reveal date, well notify the couple about your gift. For more on surprise gifts, click .

    Please note that sometimes, couples add items from other stores. To keep it simple for their guests, they will simply request the cash equivalent for the item. This allows them to have the flexibility of shipping at their convenience, as they will be able to complete the purchase later.

    In that case, there will not be an option to ship the item to another address. If you want a gift that you can present in person, we recommend picking another item from the registry!

  • When you add gifts from a third party site, you have the option to redirect your guests so they can purchase from the site directly. When that happens, they have the option of copy/pasting your address so that they may ship the item to you directly, or send it to themselves so that they can give you the gift in person.

    While we cannot send you shipping or tracking updates on items purchased elsewhere, we do send guests a follow-up form after they have gone to another site so that they can confirm the purchase, fill in their full name, and confirm the store and order confirmation number for their purchase.

    You will be able to see this information on your gift tracker, right above the item picture. With the order number and gift giver name for reference, you can reach out to the store the item was purchased from in order to get further assistance.

  • The handling fee covers the 2.5% credit card processing fee on cash gifts. It is charged by credit card companies to safely collect and transfer money online.

  • We are proud to offer you the absolute lowest fee of any registry out there. We also let you choose who covers the 2.5% credit card processing fee in your account settings.

    The default option for who covers this fee is set to your guestsweve found that its the most popular selection by couples. The fee will show up as a Handling Fee when guests check out on Zola. However, if you choose to absorb this fee, it will be collected whenever you transfer funds to your bank account.

  • If you add gifts from other stores to your Zola registry, you can choose between two ways for your guests to get it for you:

    (1) Get the cash equivalent of the gift (recommended): If you select this option, guests will check out on Zola.com and receive confirmation from Zola of their gift purchase. Youll receive the cash value of this gift and be able to track this purchase in your gift tracker. It will also be marked as purchased on your registry. A few things to keep in mind if you choose this option:

    The gift will be eligible to be marked as a Group Gift, so guests can contribute what they wish.

    If a guest gifts you the cash equivalent for the gift, you can purchase it whenever or use that cash towards something else you want. Its your cash :)

    The gift will effectively be treated as a cash fund and will be subject to a 2.5% credit card processing fee. This is the lowest fee of any registry out there and is charged by credit card companies to safely collect and transfer money online. We do not take anything. You can choose to let guests pay this fee or absorb it on their behalf in your account settings. For more on cash funds, visit this page.

    If you opt for guests to pay the 2.5% credit card processing fee, this will show up as a handling charge when your guest checks out on Zola.com.

    (2) Direct your guests to purchase the gift from the other stores website: If you select this option, your guests will check out on the other stores website. We will provide your guests with your shipping address that they can enter during the checkout process if they wish. A few things to keep in mind if you choose this option:

    This gift cannot be marked as a Group Gift.

    When your guest is directed to the other stores website, well reserve this gift on your registry until we confirm if your guest bought it. That way, no two guests will try to buy you the same gift.

    If your guest confirms they bought the item, well notify you, mark the gift as purchased on your registry, and send you a confirmation email.

    If a guest buys the gift, it will be shipped directly from the other website and you won't be able to control when you receive the shipment.

    You will not be able to return, exchange, or redeem the cash value of this gift at Zola.

    You cannot use Zola store credit to purchase this gift.

  • Zola Registry is super easy to use from start to finish, and we'll be here to help you and all your guests throughout.Heres a detailed rundown on the full process.

    Once you sign up, we'll help you fill your registry with gifts . There are a few different types of gifts you can add: giftsand gift cards from our online store, cash (or honeymoon) funds, and gifts from other online stores. We're the onlyplace where you can register for all of these in one spotsuper convenient for both you and your guests.

    Our store has 100,000+ products from over 1000 top brandsits like your favorite department store, with even more tooffer. Our brands range from classics like Kitchenaid and Waterford to up-and-comers like Parachute Home andSonos. Our products include home essentials (think dishes, flatware, kitchen appliances, bedding and bath, furniture,decor, electronics), experiences (food and wine subscriptions, city-specific adventures), and unique gifts (campinggear, luggage, pet accessories, and more), all at a range of prices. We also carry gift cards that can cover anythingfrom hotel and airfare to home renovations.

    Couples can also create cash funds at Zola for their honeymoon, a puppy, a home renovation, charity, or somethingelse entirely. Guests contribute to these funds using their credit cards. We make no money on your cash funds. Thereis a 2.5% fee ( the absolute lowest you'll find of any registry ) to cover credit card processing. You can choose to let guests pay this fee at checkout or absorb it on their behalf when you transfer funds to your bank.

    You can also add gifts to your Zola registry from other online stores. For these gifts, you'll have the option to directguests to the other store's website to purchase the gift, or you can receive the cash equivalent (so you can purchasethe gift yourself).     When you're ready to share your registry with guests, you will need to make your registry visible. Guests will not beable to shop your registry until you've made your registry visible. We also have a selection of privacy settings you canenable under your account settings if you wish.

    Then, you can share your registry with guests by adding it to your wedding website, printing your unique URL on yoursave the dates and invitations, or by telling your wedding party. If you create a free Zola wedding website, yourregistry will automatically appear on your website.

    Guests will visit your Zola registry and shop it like they do any online store. Guests will check out on zola.com for thegifts, gift cards, and cash funds you've added to your registry. However, if you've added a gift from another store and selected the option to direct guests to purchase it from the other store's website, the guest will check out on the otherstore's website. If guests ever have an issue (or want to price-match a gift), our customer service team is more thanhappy to help.

    Every time guests buy you a gift, we'll notify you via email and the app, plus well list it on your gift tracker. We'll alsomark what guests buy you as "Purchased" and move these gifts to the bottom of your registry. For physical gifts youreceive, you'll have the option to ship it right away, exchange it before it ships, or wait to ship it until you're ready. Yourphysical gifts ship from Zola and we will never ship you a gift without your consent. That way, gifts won't randomlyappear at your doorstep (and potentially get stolen).

    When you're ready to use a gift card, we'll email you redemption codes that you can use on the brand's websitewhenever. For contributions to your cash funds, you can transfer money to your bank account anytime. Gifts that wereadded from other stores and purchased by guests on the other store's website will ship from the other store.

    Want to return a gift ? No problem. Just head to your gift tracker. We'll provide a shipping label that you can paste tothe box, then you can drop it off at UPS (or schedule a pickup). If youd like to return a gift you received fromanother store, you will have to follow that stores return policy.

    Your 20% post-wedding discount will be activated the day after you get married. For six months after your weddingday, you can purchase remaining gifts on your registry at 20% off. It's the best discount out there and can be used asmany times as you want throughout those six months.

    You may be wondering how in the world does Zola make money? We make money on the gifts and gift cards wesell through our online store, plus the custom save the dates, invitations, thank you cards, and wedding paper we sellthrough Zola Invites + Paper. We do not make money on your cash funds, nor do we charge a fee to use our freewedding websites, guest list manager, or wedding checklist.

  • You can find a couple's Zola registry or wedding website by typing in the first and last name of either member of the couple after clicking this link: https://www.zola.com/search/wedding-registry.

    Couples also typically print the URL of their wedding website or registry on their save the dates, shower invitations, or wedding invitations (example: www.jackandjill.com or www.zola.com/wedding/jackandjill or www.zola.com/registry/jackandjill). You can access their Zola registry or wedding website by typing in their URL in your browser and pressing enter.

    Additionally, you can search for a couple in the search bar on the Zola homepage. Just follow these two easy steps.

    Step 1: Type in the first and last name of either member of the couple in the search bar on zola.com, as seen below.

    Step 2: Click on Couples to see a list of couples matching your search, then click on the couple youre looking for. Youll be directed to that couples Zola registry or Zola wedding website.

    Stillcan'tfind the couple? Here are a few tips:

    Make sureyou'vetyped in the full last name of either member of the couple.

    Try proper names (ie. Katherine vs. Katie) or nicknames (Joey vs. Joseph).

    The couple may still be working on their registry or wedding website and, as a result, have kept either/both private from their guests untilthey'reready. We recommend reaching out to the couple or trying again in a few days.

    The couple may have opted to remove themselves from search results on zola.com for privacy. If this is the case, youll need to access the couples website or registry by directly visiting the URL that the couple should have provided to you.

    Please note: If a couple has both a Zola wedding website and Zola registry, youll be directed to their wedding website, which lists their registry in addition to all other information theyve published for you.

  • Of course! If you have your guests' email addresses, you can send them all the notes you want.

    If you have added your guest's email address, you can click on the envelope icon near their name on your Guest list.

    This will open a modal where you can write a message to your guest. We see a lot of couples using this tool to ask for RSVP's, to remind guests of the weather before the wedding weekend, to send alerts about shuttles...but you can use it for any messages!

    If you want to send a message to more than 1 guest at a time or even to ALL of your guests, select all by click the square above all guests, and you will see all guests be checked.

    Click "Bulk Actions" and see "Send Message" in the dropdown. Please note that you cannot send a message to a guest if you are missing their email address.

    If you scroll to the top of the page, you will see 3 horizontal lines on the left-hand side. When you tap on those, the list of pages on the website will drop down, and you will be able to select which one you want to view.

    If the couple has a registry on their website, just tap on the word "Registry" and it will open the page up. Once there, you can tap on the item or items of your choice and add to your cart!

  • Yes! You can add gifts from any other online store, so your guests can shop all your gifts in one place. To add a gift from another store, you can use our super easy Add to Zola button or you can enter the direct URL to the gift. Well ask you to confirm the details of the gift, like the name and price (see screenshot below). Then you can choose to receive the cash equivalent of the gift or ask the guest to purchase it for you on the other stores website.

    We recommend accepting the cash equivalent for the gift (effectively turning the gift into a cash fund), so that you can purchase this gift on your own and control when it ships home. Otherwise, if the guest purchases the gift from the other store, the gift could end up being shipped without your notice.

  • Yes! If your guest opts not to bring a plus one, they will be able to mark the Guest Name Unknown option with Will Not Attend. This will allow them to select themselves as attending, and will allow them to select the food options and answer any provided questions.

    If they are bringing a guest but they are still not sure who, they will still need to add a name to the field, even if it just Guest Unknown.

  • If you get an RSVP request from someone whoisn'ton any of your event guest lists, youll find out via email notification, as well as under Guest List, in the tab View RSVP Requests.

    Simply select Yes, Decline RSVP Access. They will not receive any notifications that their request has been declined.

    Although its unlikely, if you know the person requesting to RSVP, you have two choices: let it live, or reach out to them to clarify the (very sticky!) situation. If you do reach out, make sure its short and to the point: Hi, saw you were trying to access our RSVP page. Due to venue and cost, we had to keep our guest list super lean. Apologies for any confusion, and thank you for thinking of us.

  • Chances are, the file size is too big. Our maximum photo upload size is 5MB, so if your image is larger than that, try resizing and reuploading.

    Not sure how to resize a photo? Here are a couple of options:

    Try searching online for "photo resizers" for free resizing tools that are easy to use (we like picresize.com )

    If you have an Apple computer, you can follow these steps:

    Open your image in Preview

    Click on the "Tools" drop down menu

    Scroll down to "Adjust Size"

    Adjust the size of the photo until it is smaller than 5MB

    Save the photo as a new file (don't lose your beautiful hi-resolution version!)

    Reupload to your Zola wedding website

    However you choose to resize your image, we recommend saving as a .PNGit helps maintain the original quality of the image better than a .JPG.

  • To keep their wedding details private, the couple has password-protected their wedding website. The couple should have provided you with the password to gain access. Usually couples print the password on their save the dates, invitations, or in a personal email to you. If you cannot locate the password, please contact the couple directly (we cannot give out a couples password).

    Have the password, but stillcan'tgain access? Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure to type the password in with the correct capital and lowercase letters.

  • Within Guest List, when you add or edit guests, you'll see a section at the bottom of the page called "Events Invited To" with all of your wedding events (see the red circled section below). Check off whatever events you'd like your guest(s) to attend. Pro Tip: Make sure they're marked as "Definitely" invited so that they show up in your head counts for each event!

    Once you find a gift that youd like to buy on a couples registry, click Add to Cart. A confirmation window will pop up and the shopping-cart icon in the top right corner of your screen will highlight how many itemsyou'veadded to your cart. When youre ready to check out, open your cart by tapping on the shopping-cart icon. Click Checkout Now to begin the seamless checkout process.

    During checkout, youll have the option to ship the gift directly to the couple (this is the default), or you can ship it to a different address (like your own if youd like to give in person). You can learn more about this process here.

    You may also notice a Contribute to Gift button under a few gifts on the couples Zola registry. This means thecouple has marked the item as a Group Gift and you can contribute any amount you wish toward it. Youll addthe amount you wish to contribute to your cart, and proceed through our seamless checkout experience. You canlearn more about contributing to group gifts here.

    Redirected to another website when you click on an item? This is because the couple added this item fromanother store to their Zola registry (so all their gifts could live on one registry). You can learn more aboutpurchasing these types of gifts here.
