What do you like best about the leadership team?
Very transparent, very supportive of their constituents. Always open to new ideas
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication and leadership across the organization. Zymergen is a clique led by a few ex McKinsey and DSM executives who have little true business building expertise. Opportunities are over hyped and the concern is that investor expectations will not be managed.

Being compensated more and having higher quality training

Great grouo if people with skls and enthusiasm.
Very very interdisciplinary, cooperative, and driven to succeed

Too many meeting little accomplishments
People just aren't interesting or fun

Less process more do and stop rewarding friends and politicians in organization.
Business science disconnect and good people undervalued and leaving

Centering the culture and retaining people. Ending partnerships with less ethical businesses. Improving work-life balance. Hiring smarter, less desperate people
