Working alongside a world-class executive team and a seasoned board of directors, Patrick is responsible for driving company-wide strategy and priorities with a focus on customer success, innovation, and rapid, scalable growth. Patrick brings to ExtraHop more than two decades of experience leading both public and private high-growth technology and cybersecurity companies. Prior to his appointment at ExtraHop, Patrick was the CEO of Alvaria Software which was formed through the merger of Aspect Software and Noble Systems. Patrick has also held CEO roles at Aspect Software and Guidance Software (acquired by OpenText), as well as leadership roles at EMC and Oracle. He has also served as an operating executive at Vector Capital, where he consulted with founders, boards, and private equity partners about strategic planning, growth, and capital requirements. Patrick holds a B.S. in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a member of the American Economic Association. In his free time, he can be found enjoying beautiful mountain views from his home in Colorado.

Mr. Cirne serves as a Strategic Limited Partner at The Four Rivers Group. He served as Entrepreneur in Residence of Benchmark Capital since February 15, 2008. He served as Advisor of Pano Logic, Inc. He founded Wily Technology Inc. in 1998 and served as its Chief Technology Officer where he was responsible for sharing with customers and partners Wily Technology's vision of bringing enterprise class performance management to the Java platform. Mr. Cirne is a widely cited expert in enterprise application performance and availability. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wily Technology until October 2001. He takes a leading role in the future technological development of Wily Technology and its products, with the goal of extending the services offered by Wily to customers deploying high-performance e-business solutions. Prior to founding Wily, Mr. Cirne held senior technical positions at Apple Inc. and Hummingbird Ltd. He is a seasoned entrepreneur, technologist and enterprise software pioneer. He has been focused on application performance management for more than 10 years. He has been a Director of New Relic, Inc. since February 2008. He served as Director of Wily Technology, Inc. He holds an A.B. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.
