BIO: A 36-year veteran of HCA Healthcare, Hazen was appointed CEO in 2019 after serving as president and chief operating officer since 2016. Hazen has served in various senior positions for HCA Healthcare including president of operations from 2011-2015. Hazen has also served as president of HCA Healthcare's Western Group, which included all operations west of the Mississippi River and represented approximately one-half of the company's revenue.

Mike Slubowski

CEO of Trinity Health

BIO: Mike Slubowski, president and chief executive officer, Trinity Health provides executive leadership to the 22-state, 92-hospital Catholic health system, serves on the Trinity Health Board of Directors, and has full accountability for the overall achievement, advancement, and success of the system. Immediately prior to this role, Slubowski served as the system's president and chief operating officer, overseeing all system operations, and focusing on ensuring that people, processes, IT systems, and resources were in place to achieve successful operations. Slubowski's more than 40 years as a health care executive include tenures as president and CEO of Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System, in Colorado, as president, Health Networks, for Trinity Health before its 2013 merger with Catholic Health East, and in executive leadership positions at health systems including Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan; Samaritan Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona; and Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Slubowski holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed advanced health care leadership training through an Advanced Leadership Institute conducted by the University of Michigan School of Business and sponsored by the National Center for Healthcare Leadership. He also holds fellowships in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
