How's the work life balance at ResCare?
Terrible. You will be promised 40hrs a week for full-time and 32 for part-time but the supervisor will work you to death. 12-16 hr. Days sometimes 4 weeks in a row. If you call off they will fire you. You will have no life other than rescare.
There isn't a balance
There's ABSOLUTELY no balance and scales are skewed heavily towards work any semblance of a life you had prior to getting a job here could very possibly cease to exist especially if you want full time hours
What are you most excited about working at ResCare?
the people I deal with every day they are amazing

If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at ResCare?
I would suggest they learn communication skills to there cleints and there staff also that they learn about followup on there cleints and advise there staff about that followup.
I'd make everyone go to etiquette classes teach professionalism

Im not sure I got a increase 6 months after I started but nothing since

How do you feel about going to work at ResCare everyday?
I enjoy my job
I can't stand it! Between getting backstabbed by co-workers, being treated badly by support coordinators, and the executive director never happy, it's miserable. Not even to mention the mounds of paperwork that no one completes.
It's a good feeling by no means do I dread coming to work
What are the team outings like at ResCare?
unsure I don't attend them as they are always during my working days

We work 40 hrs/week, vibe is cool.

Very low!! Staff disrespect supervisors and disrespect the clients just as much.
I would say low
In the billing office, pretty good. We get along well, we laugh, we talk, but we work very hard.

Backstabbing, liars, lazy, They only care about themselves.. they will leave you at work all day out of ratio while they run personal errands in the company vehicle leaving you to do all the work with all of the clients.

that they don't communicate well and are alittle unorganized at times
How do I do well in an interview at ResCare?
listen to the person your interviewing with and be honest when your asked questions don't hesitate when you reply and be sure to be up front with them
Keep good eye contact, come dressed nice and be prepared.
