I like the site I work at, but we perform duties not typical of security. We get no compensation for doing so. Our site manager can sometimes be hard to deal with, as they are too quick to write someone up for offenses that a verbal reprimand is sufficient. Morale is low at our site due to this

They need to stop being so aggressive in writing people up for minor offenses. They don't hear both sides of a situation before doing so.

We are given assignments that should be handled by the client staff, and are not suitably compensated for doing so. Doing more than security work should mean more compensation.

Be willing to listen to your staff, make compromises, and not be quick to judgement. Punishing people over minor offenses when a simple conversation to set them straight is better for overall morale
