They can work on being more accepting to all kinds of people instead of catering to heteronormative standards throughout the workplace.

No one at Hermitage Halls cares about the treatment of the abused and traumatized children. Staff enjoys putting residents in holds, inappropriately recalling residnts' trauma, and ignoring their basic needs for food, hygiene, and medical attention.

We need new superior staff, some people who actually care about these childrens' mental health. Staff needs to attend LGBTQ+ workshops that discuss inclusion and understanding how to accept and communicate effectively with queer staff and residents.

No one is ever on the same page. Most of what is communicated throughout the building is hearsay or gossip, but nothing is ever proven to be true. Treatment for the residents is ineffective and greatly effects the progress of each child, which eventually effects the whole unit.

Working there requires so much, but the pay is so little. And it never amounts to anything, truly, because now they like to coerce staff with incentives for picking up shifts but will short our checks when it's time to get paid, telling us we're not allowed to work that much.
