Reality. They are so far up in their ivory towers they don't know what it's like down here. Benefits should actually be beneficial. Not driving the company into the ground by laying off, by now, practically the entire infrastructure, systems, operations, development and database teams. We have been running on a skeleton crew for just under a year, and now employees as jumping ship (myself included) to positions paying double!
