Golden Hippo does a good job with benefits and fair pay. I've never had any issues with the compensation process and I think the company offers some benefits that other companies do not. The health care plan for individuals and families in particular is very good.

KPI Bonus opportunities. Free health coverage for EE only. Fairly priced for dependents. But I do wish we had an HMO Option because hospital stays and surgery can get expensive.

Golden Hippo has a lot of great perks and benefits, but it feels as though these are done to make up for our base salary being so uncompetitive. I would much prefer a higher salary over so many company events and perks.

I have prior experience in my career and took an internship in hopes that it would turn into full time or extending it. I was making $5k more annually at my previous job. While I'm working hard to close that gap in compensation by proving myself as a valuable employee, that's the only thing I feel weird about bc it feels like a step backwards even though I'm more experienced and better at my job now than I was then.

Higher salary. The cost of living is still outpacing pay increases. Real world expenses seem out of control. The $20 Min wage at fast food is having a ripple affect across the pay in all markets, and thus prices are adjusted up to cover the new cost.

I would feel better about a 401k matching of 1:1 instead of 1:0.5 The workload seems to be much higher than I had expected, especially for the compensation. I've noticed a lot of it is reactive in nature - it may be helpful to instill a proactive work structure in our departments.

My salary is about 15% lower than my previous position which had the same title and was in a state with a much lower cost of living. I do understand that I am new and there is potential for merit increase, but I do feel like my position and workload could warrant a slightly higher initial salary.

I've been with the company for a while now, and moving up is very challenging. My role's responsibilities keep expanding without a salary raise or a new title. To help move things along and complete tasks on time, I frequently have to fix issues that others should be handling.
