On top of my financial compensation, we have really good health insurance and dental that are covered by the company. This has helped me save tons of money on medical bills, without lowering my take home pay.

Golden Hippo does a good job with benefits and fair pay. I've never had any issues with the compensation process and I think the company offers some benefits that other companies do not. The health care plan for individuals and families in particular is very good.

Golden Hippo has a lot of great perks and benefits, but it feels as though these are done to make up for our base salary being so uncompetitive. I would much prefer a higher salary over so many company events and perks.

Coworkers need to overcome the fear of the company becoming more "corporate", which people say a lot whenever a suggestion for defined processes and more efficient workflows are suggested. Complaints that so many people are involved in a process when that's often the most efficient way in the end.

Need management take accountability. As the company grow we need management with more experience so they can lead the team more efficiently.

The company needs to spend money on professional tools to do our job. We're often provided with cheap, non industry standard gear. It lowers morale and worse creates wore work and frustration than if we had just been given professional tools to begin with.

It's not exciting to show up to work when leadership is change-resistant. They hire qualified people and hinder them from implementing changes that would bring the company success because "that's not how we do it here" or "that's already been tried and doesn't work". Allow people to try things again

Upper management is a mess. People that barely have experience are constantly getting promoted, while those that actually do the heavy lifting get taken advantage of. The best way to improve it is either they hire more reliable managers and executives or if the employee just quits.

Our sales tactics are old school and the majority of our budget only goes to the media buyers. Our target demo is mainly baby boomers and if this company wants to last they need to be up to date.
