I'm Software Dev on the Canadian side, so I follow Canadian policies. It's pretty garbage, the company has a horrible employee retention rate for a reason. Join only if you're desperate, or if they're desperate (because then they'll pay you if you negotiate).

Good sense of humor, it's lightweight and fun. It's definitely something I also contribute to. But it's a hit or miss depending on which project you're on. I hit the luck of the draw when it's come to projects.

I wish raises were more common, I've been a solid team member, good track record, deadlines on time, everything good. Yet the company expects more out of me without paying me more; I understand that I should be 'growing' and 'learning', but what about the compensation?

I didn't like anything besides the technical. The technical interview was simple and straightforward. But I saw that I got lucky because apparently you're supposed to be interviewed by a group of software engineers. Why? Interviews should be simple and straightforward, not an immigration process.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta de tu equipo directivo?
It has nothing to do with the company culture, my boss is just someone who I can be very frank and straightforward, and I can get that back. My manager has helped me a lot in any issue I needed help with. If not for my boss, I never would've stayed longer than a month, let alone a year.
