Learn to read emails and communicate. Nothing happens without a meetong - and most meetings end with on decision. Most meetings would be emails but no one acts off an email. They need a meeting to understandvthe rmail.

Interview has no relationship to the work executed. There are certain people in the company who simply reject candidates without valid reason resulting many open positions that are filled in end of fiscal in a hurry
