I feel that Klaviyo values the wellbeing, development and happiness of its employees. I also find everyone to be engaged, enthusiastic and bright at what they do. Klaviyo's product definitely is very impressive already and its focus on product means its only getting better each day!

don't give false promises such as "we don't foresee layoffs" but then lays off 33 people. AB is also very against bonuses which hurts morale in the company overall

With the higher expectations of PEs (the in-depth knowledge we have on the product, numbers we need to meet) it doesn't feel like being paid below 70k is necessarily fair in comparison to other roles

Compensation isn't quite on par with competing companies and there's a lack of bonuses. Also compensation doesn't adjust on par with the market (like historic inflation as happened this year)

I think some of my coworkers are GREAT and ambitious and creative and wonderful to work with and then there is a crop of them who do the same job but at a much lower level. Working with them is a bit more difficult as they dont really add value or elevate the conversation

Clear roles & responsibilities are required for each level. Projects and assignments are taken just on a 'who has any bandwith to tackle this?' basis. It makes for a very stressful environment as you never feel like there is enough time to achieve your job.
