don't give false promises such as "we don't foresee layoffs" but then lays off 33 people. AB is also very against bonuses which hurts morale in the company overall

Clear roles & responsibilities are required for each level. Projects and assignments are taken just on a 'who has any bandwith to tackle this?' basis. It makes for a very stressful environment as you never feel like there is enough time to achieve your job.
