How about interviewing with the district manager rather than a hiring manager

Better management, hard to get along when the only thing you can do is take it till you can file a grievance

They see us as less than them because of the pay, and in general seeing us as temp secretaries means that they don't value us as security

We are paid the lowest of the low by security standards, I would earn more flipping burgers at McDonald's. The raises are minimal and the opportunities are non existent, or never told because they can't lose the low wage workers they have

At securitas nothing it's a low level company with no advancement hoping to be bought out, because they don't run a security company they run a temp secretary agency. The site is fine, more interested in working for them than in my own security field

Site managers need to learn how to treat their staff. Middle managers need to be available and respond, my manager has taken at least 3 vacations in the last year all when I seemed to need to be in touch with them. Upper management needs to actually make us security and stop letting us be temp agent
