When I don't have a customer stealing merchandise, being rude, or protesting about sales, pricing, or signage. If you can avoid those things, you've had a good night. Oh and if you can get a return label from shipment/pickups scan and go through, you're doing really good.

Being understaffed has myself and others doing double the work than what we're compensated for. The company NEEDS to raise the pay or they will continue to see poor morale, poor hires, and high turnover. Base raises off merit not percentages and raise pay to recruit quality candidates. Do better.

I have some great kids working with me. They're just starting out in life so they're okay with low wages. They're hopeful and energetic, they're hard working and fun kids to be around. High school, college kids, and retirees are all we can afford. Anyone who has few to no financial commitments.

My manager was not trying to rush through. You could tell he was really trying to get to know me and see if I would fit the store's atmosphere. He wasn't just trying to hire a body like some big box companies. He was friendly and relaxed, it felt like a conversation rather than an a test.
