Not much no communication or quality training

Seems like they're very helpful
They listen and involve all of us in improving our store.
Their responsive rate is high.
We all quit together. Now we need our w2 please
My store manager is relatable, personable, trustworthy, and hard working. I respect him immensely.
Jasmine treats us better than the company does
If not for leadership within my store I would never work Michaels.
Willingness to answer questions and show exactly what they mean
They practice what they preach and always look at the big picture.
they are amazing and like a second family
Everything we all get along together and work awesome together
They are usually positive, and like to recognize great effort when they see it.
At Michaels, I feel like a leader. Everyone who wants a part of leadership will soar in this company, you feel like you're personally growing and its so rewarding. Everyone works off of eachother and its so amazing to see that!

Great tips on what to do to run a great store
The district manager is a fair and reasonable man. I think he does a great job handing down some of the corporate decisions that aren't so easy for us to take.
Better training and better positive reinforcement instead of coaching notes when you don't get enough rewards signups and credit applications
Treating employees with respect and making them feel valued
mentorship vs constant negative comments
Everything about the leadership need to get better
Managing. Delagating. And being resoectful to new workers during Christmas rush.
A new store manager who is kind and understanding.
The leadership has promoted incompetence.
Communication and leadership ability overall to lead a team
Talking to people with respect and dignity. Nurturing people's talents and holding everyone to the same standard
They need to help and listen to their employees
Treatment of employees. More respect for older staff members.
communication & anger issues. Better help
Provide a safe working environment for cashier's. Pay competitive wages. Not expose works to strange chemicals which may or may not be toxic without any precautions due to store cleaning for COVID virus.
Provide safe environment for cashier's. Pay competitive wages. Not force employees to work around chemicals without explaining if they are safe or potentially toxic.
Lead by example, constructive criticism instead of harsh criticism, simple directive, better communication, and positivity from the Management Team. No seasonal flow is in the store due to Side counters being in the wrong places, wich displaces the customer perception of merchandise. Better energy.
Honesty. If you are going to tell someone they are on the right path and next for a promotion don’t pull someone from the same store into that promotion when they never worked for it but only got it because they were with the company long
The leadership needs to act more professional. The company needs to look into who is part of the leadership team and do background checks before position is granted.
Scheduling proper coverage for all departments and being willing to compromise for more hours when the workflow is demanding of it.

Actually leading, not promoting people who can't do their job.
Review from Operations Dept
consider the long term effects of decisions on the employees and not stock price
