At my specific UHS hospital the most positive thing would have to be the culture at work that's cultivated by the direct care team. We all value one another and know that it's imperative to have each other's back. That makes everyone feel confident about their work abilities and allows for structure

Leadership who have leadership qualities and traits. Individuals in leadership who are focused on our patients rather than having a good reputation or hiring people they like just to have a team to hang out with. Leadership who understand the roles of all their staff, and CARE about their staff

Corporate needs to come and watch cameras of restraints not being necessary. Make sure that we aren't admitting people that we can not help. No one at windsor laurelwood is certified to work with autistic patients yet time and time again we get very aggressive ones and they restrain them. Like what

Fair pay and a management team that does more than give lip service. Less management more fairly paid staff. People do NOT apply because ALL OTHER AREA HOPITALS PAY MORE, and were drowning some days without enough staff!

It needs to be centered around improvement for both staff and patients instead of controlling the staff. They provide less than ideal work environments while expecting more and more productivity. It seems like they literally try to make it more miserable every day.

We need new superior staff, some people who actually care about these childrens' mental health. Staff needs to attend LGBTQ+ workshops that discuss inclusion and understanding how to accept and communicate effectively with queer staff and residents.
