Pay your employees for the jobs they are actually doing. I understand the aspect of lending a helping hand but when it's everyday and you've got to watch 2-3 departments and you're only being paid for one of those departments it feels like you're being used.

Communicating and rewarding propper work ethic. This company's retention rate is in the meridian trench. Understand that the customer is first and if their aren't enough employee bodies to cover all customer inquiries on the phone and in store wouldn't you think you'd need to hire more people?
