I've worked at other "best places to work." Most of the ones I've worked at that won an award tried to game the system in some way. CG doesn't. They ask us to be honest, and seem to genuinelly care about feedback. The pay may not be as high as FAANG but the culture makes up for it.

Bonuses are every six months. This helps the employees for obvious reason but also the company - a tight feedback loop creates better employees.

Establish clean communication and comradery between teams. Makes us feel like we are all part of something bigger than ourselves than a bunch of tribes. C levels who listen.

Trust. I can talk to someone new and not have to vet them to see if they will stab me in the back. I know that by working here they will be honest and looking out for the greater good of the company and their peers.

I've been in industry for over 20 years and seen a variety of cultures. Many places spend time on the apperance of good culture, where CG focuses on making sure folks are actually happy and productive in reality. This shows with a positive attitude of building each other up.
