They care and want to do a good job. The are receptive to guidance.
The leadership team seems to be in touch with the dynamic work-scape we are now in and are trying to be flexible and responsive. I particularly like Bonny Tully and the leadership team is better with her.
We say we do salary surveys and that the benefits are very good (which they are), but a few years ago I was in a similar role to the one I am in now and my salary is about 10-15% behind.
I think the use of social tools - e.g., the various communities are good. I am a member of several. I think the diversity efforts are okay, but it's hard for me to really know how effective these are.
